We focus on treats made without the most common food allergens to ensure they are inclusive and safe for the majority of people with food allergies. Plus, many of the products are gluten-free, vegan, and inclusive of various other dietary restrictions.
We acknowledge that all manufactured foods carry some inherent risk. That’s why we only partner with manufacturers who have strong allergen control, cleaning, and cross-contact minimisation processes in place.
Can I trust the allergen information on your products?
We verify allergen information directly with manufacturers, product packaging and update our product listings regularly. We always recommend you check individual product pages and also the product packaging for the most current allergen details.
What if I have multiple allergies?

What type of treats do you stock?

Every product stocked at Charlie’s Safe Treat Box goes through a strict approval process to ensure it is free from the top 10 allergens as defined by Australian food labelling laws and contains no “may contain” warnings.
We acknowledge that all manufactured foods carry some inherent risk. That’s why we only partner with manufacturers who have strong allergen control, cleaning, and cross-contact minimisation processes in place.
What does “no may contain warnings” mean?
It means the product does not include precautionary allergen statements such as “may contain traces of…”. Products are only approved if they meet our strict safety criteria.
How do you choose and approve your products?

Orders & Shipping
Where do you ship to?
We ship Australia-wide, including metro, regional, and rural areas.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping option you select.
How much does shipping cost?
- $12 flat-rate standard shipping
- $20 express shipping
- Free standard shipping on orders over $150
Can I send an order directly as a gift?
Yes. You can ship directly to the recipient, and we never include pricing information in parcels.
Chocolate Shipping Policy
How do you ship chocolate products?
We take extra care when shipping chocolate, especially during warmer months. Chocolate orders placed during cooler months are wrapped in foil. Chocolate orders placed in warmer months require Chocolate Shipping (Express Post with Ice Pack + Foil Wrap), to help keep the chocolate cool during transit.
Do you recommend express shipping for chocolate?
Yes. We strongly recommend choosing Chocolate Shipping (Express Post with Ice Pack + Foil Wrap) for all chocolate orders to help ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
Important – Warm Weather & Chocolate Orders
During warmer months, when Chocolate Shipping (Express Post with Ice Pack + Foil Wrap) is required, flat-rate and free shipping options will not show as available if chocolate is in your cart. To access those options, please place a separate order without chocolate products.
What if I choose standard shipping instead of Chocolate Shipping?
If you select standard shipping instead of Chocolate Shipping, you accept the risk of chocolate melting during transit. Melted chocolate is still safe to eat, but we’re unable to refund or replace it.
Gift Boxes
Are gift boxes suitable for adults and children?
Yes. Our gift boxes are mostly suitable for both children and adults.
Some snacks are best suited for children aged 5+ through to adults. You can also shop for individual snacks for age-appropriate options.
Can I see what’s inside a gift box before purchasing?
Yes. Each gift box includes a full list of products and ingredients on the product page.
Subscriptions
How do subscription boxes work?
Subscriptions are billed and shipped on the same date as your initial order each month.
How do I manage my subscription?
Create a store account using the same email address used for your subscription order. You can access this via the “Subscription” link in your order confirmation email.
What can I do from my subscription account?

Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Our subscriptions are flexible and can be updated, paused or cancelled at any time.
Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns, refunds, or exchanges?
Due to the perishable nature of food products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on food items. We do not offer refunds for change of mind on food and non-food products; refunds are issued only if a product is defective or damaged.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and a description of the issue so we can assess and resolve it.

Yes. We can provide allergy-friendly options for schools, party centres, and events. Please contact us for bulk orders or tailored solutions.
