Refund policy

Refunds and returns

Charlie's Safe Treat Box does not offer refunds for change of mind and only issues refunds if a product is defective or damaged. 

In the unlikely event your order has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours with a photo and description of the damage to verify the claim. Once we’ve verified your claim of damaged goods we’ll either send out a replacement product or issue a credit or refund of the purchase price.  

Our policy lasts 30 days for returns on faulty products. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a credit or exchange. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, and it must also be in the original packaging.

Gift cards are a non-returnable item.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us at info@charliessafetreatbox.com. Returns must be sent to PO Box 146, Camberwell, VIC, 3124.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

When purchasing chocolate during warmer weather, we recommend that customers choose express shipping in addition to also purchasing an Ice-Pack and Foil Wrap Service. This will give products the best chance of arriving in good condition, however our carriers may move and store your order in hot environments and no refunds or replacements will be issued for heat damaged goods. You should also be present to receive your order from the delivery driver directly as orders that are "left in a safe place" may not be sheltered from the direct sun and heat.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items, such as food, custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products) cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@charliessafetreatbox.com.

Order Cancellations
Review your order carefully before placing it. We can only process your cancellation if the order hasn't shipped, minus any transaction fees that we've incurred (e.g. Afterpay or PayPal). If you wish to cancel your order before it has shipped, please email us immediately at info@charliessafetreatbox.com

Charlie's Safe Treat Box reserves the right to cancel or modify an order anytime due to suspicion of fraud, supply issues, shipping delays, or a product becoming unavailable.

Subscriptions
Recurring subscriptions automatically renew and are billed on the same date as the original purchase until cancelled through the website. Unless a subscription is cancelled 2 days before the above renewal dates, it will automatically renew for a further subscription period, and you will be charged the subscription price.
